A Winter Wonderland 2016

2015/2016 Winter had been mild and without much snow.  Then on February 5th we had a small storm of sticky snow.  Not much,, about 6-8 inches, but it stuck to all the trees and shrubbery and turned the Pond into a winter wonderland.  Just at sunset, the clouds started clearing and out from underneath shown this beautiful golden light that hit the tops of all the snow-covered trees turning them into glowing gold!  As the sun set, the sky turned a deep pinky-red over the Lagoon and then all the snow over the Pond turned a light pink against a deep blue sky and water.  The next morning I got up early and headed out around the Lagoon to do some more shooting.  The trees were still covered and the sky was a beautiful blue and it was a perfect morning for shooting!
